About Jim McNerney
Jim McNerney is a dedicated student of Positive Psychology, particularly the study of what makes us happy and how to create even more of it in our lives.
Jim began studying Positive Psychology with the Wholebeing Institute in 2015. He has earned certifications in Positive Psychology, and Positive Psychology Coaching, through the Wholebeing Institute.
And since 2018, he has been doing a very deep dive into the study of happiness with the Happiness Studies Academy. He has completed the year-long certification program with the Happiness Studies Academy.
Jim has become so enthusiastic about sharing the study of happiness that he is currently in the beginning stages of creating a Happier Center. Happier Centers are the brainchild of Jim’s teacher and mentor, Dr. Tal Ben Shahar, the founder of the Happiness Studies Academy.
In addition to his passions for Positive Psychology and happiness, Jim is professional Health Coach and Mind Body Eating Coach. His primary area of focus is helping emotional overeaters transform their relationship with food.
Jim has found that at the core, every meaningful health goal his clients pursue is ultimately about their desire to become happier, more personally fulfilled, and to have more energy and freedom to enjoy their lives to the fullest!
