Leader Mom Presents: Self-Care 5.0: What thriving Folk know Author of:
“A Short Course after Happiness after Loss”(and other dark, difficult times)

Catherine has over 25 years of experience in engagement, leadership and culture.  Her niche found her: making very smart people smarter, happier, and more effective leading themselves and diverse teams.
She has supported leaders in financial services, scientists, executives in private equity, physicians, sales superstars, senior leaders and executives charged with shaping culture, leaders in hospitality, and national candidates – all the while collecting wisdom about what works and synthesizing unique perspectives.

Deeply grounded in research on leadership and engagement, emotional intelligence and positive psychology, she enables successful people to target and practice small changes  that lead to seismic gains. And she has a keen awareness of how bias works and how inclusion benefits us all.

Her consulting firm, Whole Leader, is about strategically leveraging assets and managing risks, whether the span of leadership is managing oneself, leading others, leading leaders or leading organizations.  Her passion is her “LeaderMom”™  project, which addresses a primary challenge to the pipeline.  With original research from high-performing senior and executive leaders who are admired as highly engaged mothers, the firm builds skills for women and their managers as well, and offers a model for how to kill it at work and have a rich, healthy personal life.  The firm’s membership platform has been described as an oasis of positivity and practical wisdom, as part leadership development and part social movement.
